Hey guys I thought I would update all of you here again since a lot of things have changed from the past 77 days since the last devlog.

Art style

If you saw my last devlog you would have seen I swapped art style, however I decided to swap back to an art style that is closer to the original version.

One reason is the art didn't look very good and I was not happy with it, Another reason is that it will be way easier to make the art for the game as it is more simpler which will allow me to finish the game quickly. I'm not an artist so I think a simpler art style will suit me and the game better.

A simpler art style is kinda necessary for the game as well, for example the inside of the ground needs to be a solid colour. If you have the inside of the ground very detailed it will hurt your eyes since you are usually falling downwards or moving upwards really quickly while in the ground.

Playtesting

I will be needing some playtesters for the full version soon. If you are interested or just want to see the game develop in general, please consider joining the Discord server where you can pick a role to join the playtesting team! You can also suggest features or changes to be added to the full version!

How is the development?
All of the major level gimmicks are at somewhat 70% finished state. That means that they all work fine and I can put them into the game but they don't have that layer of polish just yet.

As of right now I am developing a "Vertical Slice" which will basically include the first level of the game but fully polished up which will help me finalise how the full game will play.

Name of Outer Bounds Full Version
As of now I'm still scrambling for a name for the full version of the game, maybe I will be able to use the name Outer Bounds but I am not too sure (i dont know how these things work lol). If you have a good name idea drop it down below! I also set up a discord text channel where I discuss some of my ideas there as well.
